Project Overview
Specialty Pharmacy outgrew their existing space on the East Ann Arbor campus and desired to construct a new facility to house their growing operation. Ultimately, an existing warehouse and office facility in Dexter, Michigan was completely renovated from the structure up to create Specialty Pharmacy’s new home. The pride of the facility is the new Distribution center, complete with medical-grade refrigeration, autonomous robotic filling stations, and adequate space for continued growth and future drone delivery. Administration, Finance, and Med Use offices were consolidated in the facility.
The existing parking lot, exterior envelope, and all existing mechanical and electrical systems were replaced entirely, increasing the energy performance of the building by 25%. Redundant generators provide backup power to the entire facility, ensuring minimal disruption to distribution operations.
