Spartan Stadium South End Zone

The Spartan Stadium South End Zone Addition was the third phase of a multi phased master plan update of the Stadium following the West Tower and North End Zone Additions. Functionally, the South End Zone Addition provides much needed fan amenity spaces with four new major concession stands and 236 additional restroom fixtures including Family focused facilities. The South End Zone Addition takes its building envelope material palette from the West Tower Addition and Homeland Security Entry Gates from the North End Zone Project.

While the North End Zone Addition was all about the Football Team, the South End Zone Addition is about the Fans. The plaza outside the South End Addition will become the site that will house recognitions of long standing season ticket holders and a commissioned Art on Campus piece that is intended to another iconic photo opportunity place on campus.
