Project Overview
Demand for additional outpatient surgery capacity continues to increase at Michigan Medicine. This project expands the existing outpatient Operating suite with two incremental operating rooms, one for Orthopedics, and one for General surgery.
This project also increases sterile core storage, by renovating existing shelled space in the occupied suite. An incremental air handling unit mounted on the roof, over the suite, provides supplemental heating/cooling.
