Project Overview
IDS partnered with Van Buren Public Schools to implement a series of transformative projects funded by the district’s successful 2019 Bond Proposal. Among the most significant improvements are critical infrastructure upgrades at Savage and Tyler Elementary Schools, along with architectural enhancements at Owen Intermediate School.
The multi-phase bond program officially broke ground on October 8, 2020, with the construction of a new Early Childhood Development Center.
Subsequent phases will introduce a range of facility improvements, including the creation of innovative Maker Spaces, roofing replacements, upgraded lighting, HVAC enhancements, renovated restrooms, improved security door hardware, and modernized classrooms.
Through these updates, IDS is helping to create safer, more efficient, and engaging learning environments that support the evolving needs of students and educators across the district.
