Biography
He began his career at IDS as an electrical designer. This foundation afforded him the ability to plan technology projects from a unique background experience. Always looking to build upon or reuse an existing system, Shawn’s first thought is never “out with the old, in with the new.” This saves our customers significant amounts of money that could be better suited towards the purchase of additional technologies. That being said, managing and tracking budgets is a passion of his. Working with architects and engineers to provide collaborative documents results in successful implementation of projects, delivered on-time and on-budget. Following the teaching of one of his mentors, Dave Ramsey, he treats his customer’s money as if it were his own in an effort to get the most “bang for the buck.” This led him to want to pursue a degree in Business Administration, which he completed in 2018.
What he’s found is that the single most important thing he can do is to listen. Shawn believes that you must understand the entire situation before you can begin to impact the project in a successful way.
Shawn understands that in order to implement a successful project it takes a qualified team. He feels that every member of the team must be treated with an equal amount of respect. His wife, four children, peers, clients, and contractors know Shawn has an immeasurable amount of integrity. Spending time with his family is the reward he receives after a hard day’s work.
