Biography

As a young boy Jim used to take the electric motors out of his toys, make plastic props and build his own twin engine battery powered toy boats. These interests led Jim to Michigan Technological University to earn his BSEE degree in Electrical Power Engineering. Since then, he has added Professional Engineer credentials, LEED BD+C, and NCEES. Jim’s expertise includes all areas of electrical design and brings 20 years of versatile electrical engineering and 7 years working with his own company. His diverse projects from airports and government to schools and hospitals and everything in between.

Having worked construction with his father and residential electrical, Jim offers the commonsense approach. Drawing upon experience and proven technologies, he coordinates the electrical engineering effort from the start to final construction inspection to meet the highest standards of quality. Jim understands how powerful coordination and communication are to project success.
