Greg understands buildings are not just physical structures but impact how humans have dynamic experiences in a space. This belief is why Greg strives to create positive experiences and relationships on every project. His efforts include designing the electrical systems for high-rise, mixed-use buildings, leading engineering project teams, and mentoring young engineers. Greg knows each project is an opportunity to make a statement and prove any challenge can be overcome by analysis, coordination, and creative thinking. He prides himself for his work in Detroit, including the Shinola Hotel, Detroit Free Press Building, and many others. Greg is also heavily involved in the Healthcare and K-12 market sectors. His personal interests include writing, drawing, board games, and charity work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which has a deep connection with his family. Greg believes his greatest professional accomplishment to date is the design of the Shinola Hotel systems in Detroit, Michigan. This project required considerable coordination and effort to combine multiple existing historic structures into one coherent and functional building.
