Biography
After graduating from University of Detroit-Mercy in 2010, Charlie began his career with a construction management firm, starting in marketing before transitioning to a project engineer. Charlie joined IDS in February of 2013 where he has had a variety of roles including Project Architect, Construction Administrator, Spec Writer and Project Manager.
Not only has Charlie had a variety of roles, but he also has a diverse background in a variety of markets focuses such as childcare centers to schools to healthcare to athletics, Charlie is as diverse as can be. Charlie always has a desire to learn about anything new in the industry; One thing Charlie enjoys most about being an architect is getting the chance to learn about the different subject matters of each project.
Outside of the office, Charlie loves traveling to explore new cities and the architecture within them. After studying abroad as part of an architecture program and backpacking through Europe, Charlie now has it on the top of his bucket list to travel back to Spain to see La Sagrada Familia once it is finally complete.
