IDS lead the conceptual design, clinical planning, documentation, and management for this Ambulatory Care Facility from inception through traditional implementation. The Conceptual Planning Phase employed IDS’ specialized Health Facilities Advance Project Planning Team where all aspects of the project (scope, schedule, budget) were conceived hand-in-hand utilizing an Integrated Project Delivery Team methodology in “big room” format with Target Value Design cost management. The IDS Healthcare management leaders conceived, managed, and systematically delivered the Programming, Schematic Design, and Design Development stakeholder workshops through proven, superior work planning.
The initial facility functions include clinic as well as hospital services: lab, imaging, rehabilitation, sleep center. The clinics are an integrated multidisciplinary model offering operational efficiency and flexibility chosen amongst the consideration of multiple operational models. Flexible planning allows for current and forthcoming registration processes. The design team strategically planned the macro-level aspects of the facility (structural, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure systems) for cost efficiency, first cost, long term operational cost, current clinical planning, and flexibility for future clinical adaptability.
